Sunday Times Writing Competition
SUNDAY TIMES CRIME CLUB / ELIZABETH GEORGE CRIME-WRITING COMPETITION
Have you got what it takes to be a bestselling crimewriter? Here’s your chance to find out, by entering The Times and Sunday Times Crime Club/Elizabeth George crime-writing competition.
Unpublished authors have until Tuesday June 2 2020 to submit a first chapter, of no more than 2,500 words, and a 200-word synopsis. Elizabeth George, creator of the Inspector Lynley series, will pick the winner. She’s just published Mastering the Process, her own guide to how to write, based on a lifetime in the bestseller lists. The winner’s prize is a personal masterclass with her, and an editorial consultation with the commissioning editor for crime at Hodder & Stoughton, her UK publisher.
